About Hungry Hound

It all started 10 years ago when I decided to bake dog treats for my Chow Chow named Metro.

Metro had a sensitive tummy, and I love to bake, so we were a perfect match. After researching ingredients, I stumbled upon an article detailing what ingredients are used in commercial dog kibble. I immediately made a drastic change in his diet. The research is still ongoing.

My husband Tom and I now have two three beautiful Saint Bernards. Jezebel and Petey can be seen on each page of our site. They are joined in this photo by our new puppy, Lexie. It is my goal to provide them with the best natural products that are made.

Hungry Hound’s goal is not only to provide beautiful items for your pets to wear, but to raise awareness in our community that there are better choices out there for your pets

Not just with natural products and super premium foods, but also to train your pets instead of giving them up for adoption, and to adopt a homeless pet who needs a chance instead of that puppy behind the glass at the pet store. We work closely with the Humane Society as well as local rescue groups, promoting adoption.
